To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem

and devotes himself to the needs of the community,

Rav Michoel[1],

Greetings and blessings,

You have surely received the kuntreisim*[2] and the brochures[3] for Yud-Tes Kislev*, as well as the letter addressed to all[4] that accompanied them. In accordance with your proposal, I am enclosing a letter for the great Rav Y. Sebag[5] and for the talmid* of the Yeshivah, Shlomo Soussan[6].

You ask me what name to give the girls' school. You shall call it Beis Sarah. As for the program of studies, you doubtless have at hand that of the Merkaz L'Inyanei Chinuch*, which has a department devoted specifically to the study of girls.

You tell me that no organization has been settled upon for the library. This is not good. You could place it, in a fitting manner, in one of the rooms of the Yeshivah. It will thus enable an action of dissemination, and who knows — perhaps one day someone will consult a sefer* of Chassidus*. The results will be remarkable, and even considerable, from various points of view.

Moreover, you know the explanation our Sages* give of the verse "Do not weigh the path of life"[7]. They emphasize that one must not constantly weigh the pros and cons. The same applies to Torah and to those who study it. There is no need to elaborate further.

With my blessing, and awaiting good news,

הקונטרסים והחוברות לי"ט כסלו ומכ' הכללי השייך אליהם בטח כבר קיבל. כפי הצעתו מוסג"פ מכתבי להרה"ג וכו' מוהר"י סבאג, וגם להב' שלמה שושן שי'.

בשאלתו איך לכנות השם לבית ספר לנערות, הנה יכנם בשם "בית שרה", ותכנית הלימודים בהם, הרי בטח יש לו התכנית לימודים של המל"ח - מרכז לעניני חינוך - ובה מחלקה תכנית לימודים מיוחדת לנערות.

מ"ש שעדיין לא נסתדר ע"ד הספרי', הנה לא נכון דבר. ובטח יש בידו לסדר באחד מאולמי הישיבה עכ"פ באופן הראוי, ומלבד הפרסום שבדבר, הרי אין אתנו יודע עד מה, ואפשר אשר זה שביום פלוני יוכל איש פלוני לעיין באחד מספרי החסידות, הנה מזה תוצאות מיוחדות וגדולות בכמה פרטים. ובפרט שידוע מרז"ל עה"פ אורח חיים פן תפלס, אל תהי יושב ושוקל וכו' והוא הדין בתורה ולומדי תורה, והאריכות בזה אך למותר...
