To the leaders of the youth of the Chabad organization[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I took note of the report of your activity, during the month of Tishrei[2], in particular during "z'man simchaseinu*"[3], with pleasure and great joy. May Hashem grant that you continue and intensify your action in the days that follow, for that which is linked to kedushah* must go increasing, must cross successive stages.

For the moment, I would like to remind you of the immense importance of making use of the month of Kislev[4] to spread the ideas of Chabad Chassidus*, especially starting from the 10[5] and the 19th of this month. One shall organize, on this occasion, the campaign that is necessary, and one shall strive, in particular, to convince the youth, not only that which observes, but also that which does not yet do so and, at the present time, finds itself therefore "outside"[6].

We must complete here, these days, the translation into Hebrew of a brochure relating to 19 Kislev, which shall be sent to you immediately. Nevertheless, you shall surely find, on the spot, a good translator. If this is the case, it is unnecessary to wait for the text that shall be sent to you from here, which risks reaching you with delay.

With my brachah* of success in your sacred mission and that there be fulfilled the brachah of our master, that you be "lights to illuminate,"

You will find enclosed the kuntres* relating to 20 Marcheshvan, which has been edited these days.

ועל של עתה באתי לעוררם ע"ד הנחיצות היותר גדולה להשתמש בחדש כסלו להפצת שיטת החסידות חב"ד. ובפרט בהימים שמיו"ד כסלו, י"ט כסלו ואילך, ולסדר הדברים בפירסום המתאים, והעיקר להשתדל בכיבוש הנוער, ולא רק הנוער החרדי בלבד, אלא גם זה שלעת עתה אינו חרדי עדיין, הנמצא לע"ע בחוצה.

אפשר שימים אלו תוגמר כאן העתקת חוברת י"ט כסלו ללשון הקדש, ואז תושלח לכם. אבל בטח גם במחניכם יש למצוא בקל מעתיק המתאים, ואז אין כדאי לחכות להעתקה הנשלחת מכאן, אשר אפשר שתתאחר.
