We are sending you a "daily compendium, pocket encyclopedia" and we are certain that this brochure will arouse in you the greatest interest, that you will consult it often and that you will be satisfied with it.

This brochure is published in pocket format, so that you can carry it easily and have it available whenever you wish.

We have provided a space in which you can briefly note important information. We are convinced that this brochure will accompany you everywhere, will be your good friend, not only when you are at home, but also when you are on the road.

I would be happy if you would confirm to me that you have received this brochure, that you would share with me your impressions, as well as your remarks, which we will take the greatest account of for next year's edition.

I am convinced that you are constantly fully aware of this, but I seize this opportunity nevertheless to remind you that in every place where you find yourself, Hashem, the L-rd of hosts, accompanies you, protects you and observes each of your actions, as the message of the Rebbe Shlita of Lubavitch* explains at length. There is therefore no reason to be afraid. One must have good morale, be convinced that one will vanquish the enemy.

You must bind yourself even more intensely to your faith and your convictions, strive by all your means to put into practice the Torah and the Mitzvos*, for Hashem is before you.

It is said that "when you go out to war against your enemy, you shall guard yourself from every negative element, for Hashem your L-rd is in your camp, to save you and to place your enemy in your hand. Your camp shall therefore be holy."

Hoping that you will soon return home safe and sound, after a complete victory and that all the children of Israel will know the complete deliverance.

וכמש"נ (דברים כג, י-טו): כי תצא מחנה על אויבך ונשמרת מכל דבר רע - כי ד' אלקיך מתהלך בקרב מחניך להצילך ולתת אויבך לפניך והי' מחניך קדוש.

באיווי שיחזור בקרוב לביתו שלם אחרי נצחון גמור ואיחול גאולה שלמה לכל בנ"י.
