Greetings and blessings,
You will find enclosed the kuntres* edited on the occasion of 13 Tishrei and the festival of Sukkos, which approaches[1]. You shall make it available to as many people as possible, in particular thanks to the joy of the "z'man simchaseinu*," which is ours, in the plural[2].
You know that a man, when he is joyous, strives to be in company[3], as it is said: "you shall rejoice, you and your house," that is to say, all the persons composing it.
How much more is this the case when one gathers to study Torah, which has the virtue of bringing hearts together, instates friendship between all those who take part in the study[4], especially when it bears upon the profound teaching of the Torah, which is "the tree of life, comprising no questioning, no controversy"[5].
When many people gather, they may obtain all that they desire[6], in particular if the object of their gathering is the study of Torah or a festival imbued with ahavas Yisroel*. Then, there is fulfilled the promise according to which "Bless us, our Father, all as one, with the light of Your Face"[7].
It is thus that one provokes the joy of Hashem, to which the plural of "z'man simchaseinu" also alludes, in this case, that of the Holy One, blessed be He, "that Hashem rejoice in His creatures," and that of the Jews, "that Israel rejoice in his Maker"[8].

שלום וברכה!

גם ידוע אשר בשעת שמחה רצונו של אדם והשתדלותו להיות בצוותא וחברותא, ושמחת אתה וביתך - ואנשי ביתך.
ובפרט צוותא וחברותא דלימוד התורה, אשר סגולתו לקרב את הלבבות עד שנעשים אוהבים זה את זה. וביחוד בלימוד פנימיות התורה, שהיא אילנא דחיי דלית תמן לא קשיא ולא מחלוקת.
ובהתאחדות הרבים כולם כאחד לא יבצר מהם כל אשר יזמו, ובפרט אם
ההתאחדות היא בלימוד והתועדות דאהבת ישראל, אשר אז נתמלאת הבקשה שיהי' ברכנו אבינו כולנו כאחד באור פניך, וגורמים השמחה גם מלמעלה למטה - זמן שמחתנו ל' רבים: שמחת הקב"ה - ישמח הוי' במעשיו, ושמחת ישראל - ישמח ישראל בעושיו.
