Greetings and blessings,

I received your letter of September 8 and I read in it with satisfaction that you yourself have noticed how much your son has made progress, that he is calmer. Dr. Wilder was able to verify this as well.

As I have already told you, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, granted his brachah* that your son be in good health, and undoubtedly, he will keep his word. There is therefore only a question of time.

Certainly, it is not easy to wait, especially for the parents of an only son. Nevertheless, if one strengthens oneself in the conviction that this brachah will be fulfilled in any case, one gains on two levels at once. One can, more easily, await its fulfillment. Furthermore, the stronger the conviction, the more rapid the materialization of the assurance formulated by the tzaddik*.

I hope that your bitachon* will be great, even stronger than until now. I am all the more convinced of this in that you will soon witness a radical improvement in your son's condition.

You write to me that your son already attends school. I hope that he will have good results there.

I conclude by expressing the wish that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, as well as your husband and your son.

קבלתי מכתבה מה־ 8בספטמבר ,ושמחתי לקרוא בו שגם היא כבר

מבחינה ,כפי שכותבת במכתבה ,שבריאות בנה משתפרת והוא יותר רגוע,

וגם ד״ר וילדר אמר זאת.

כפי שכבר אמרתי לה פעם ,אשר כיון שהרבי חמי נתן ברכתו ,שבנה

יהי׳ בריא ,הוא בודאי יקיים את דבריו .זו רק שאלה של זמן.

אכן ,אין ספק שקשה לחכות ,אבל כאשר חזקים בבטחון שהברכה

תתקיים ,זה עוזר בשני אופנים :בינתיים הרבה יותר קל להמתין עד

שרואים זאת בפועל ,וככל שהבטחון חזק יותר] ,כך[ יותר מהר ,מגיע קיום

הבטחת הצדיק.

הנני מקוה שתהי׳ חזקה בבטחון ,חזקה עוד יותר מאשר עד עתה ,וזה

גם מחזק את בטחוני שבקרוב תראה שזה הולך לבנה הרבה יותר טוב ועוד

יותר טוב בכל המובנים.

כיון שכותבת שבנה שי׳ כבר הולך לבית הספר ,הנני מקוה לשמוע

שמקבלת דיווחים טובים אודותו.

הנני מסיים בברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לה ,לבעלה ולבנה שי׳ ,לשנה

טובה ומתוקה.
