Greetings and blessings,

The Rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav Shlomo Chaim Kasselman[1], has informed me that you are the caretaker of a beis hachaim* and that at present you are not in good health. He sent me a request for a berachah on your behalf, and I read it at the Ohel* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe. There is no doubt that he will invoke divine mercy on your behalf and you will have a refuah sheleimah*.

In my opinion, you should ask forgiveness of those who rest in the beis hachaim of which you were the caretaker. If it is difficult for you to assemble ten persons for this, you will at least do so in the presence of three persons. They will enter the beis hachaim with you, and before them you will say that if any of your actions could be interpreted as a lack of respect for those who rest there, you ask their forgiveness in the presence of these three or these ten Yidden*, and you affirm that your intent was solely to honor them.

Obviously, you will do all this only when the doctors permit you to move about and to go to the beis hachaim.

Likewise, you will keep the three studies of Chumash*, Tehillim* and Tanya*, which were instituted by my father-in-law, the Rebbe. During the month of Elul and the Aseres Yemei Teshuvah*[2], you will also recite the additional Tehillim that were added by my father-in-law, the Rebbe[3].

I have good hope that you will soon be able to inform me of an improvement in your state of health, which will strengthen more and more, until you are completely healed.

Obviously, you will conform to the prescriptions of the doctors, of whom Chazal* say that the Torah granted them the power to heal.

ע"י הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"מ עוסק בצ"צ וכו' מהו"ר שלמה חיים שי' קסלמן, נודעתי אשר הי' שמש בביה"ח ועתה מצב בריאותו אינו כדבעי, וגם שלח פ"נ בשבילו, אשר קראתיו על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ובודאי יעורר ר"ר עליו לרפואה קרובה.

לדעתי כדאי שיבקש מחילה מהשוכני עפר בביה"ח שהי' שמש שם, ואם קשה לסדר בפני עשרה הרי יעשה זה בפני שלשה, היינו שיכנסו עמדו לביה"ח ויאמר בפניהם, שאם הי' איזה פעולה שפגע ח"ו בכבוד של איזה משוכני עפר בביה"ח זה, הרי מבקש מחילה בפני שלשה (או עשרה) מישראל ולא היתה כוונתו אלא בשביל כבודם.

כמובן יעשה זה אך כאשר ירשו לו הרופאים להתהלך ברחוב וללכת לביה"ח לעשות את הנ"ל.

כן יתחזק בשמירת הג' שיעורים בחומש תהלים ותניא, שהם מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, ובחדש אלול ועשי"ת ג"כ באמירת תהלים הנוספים ע"י כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר.

ותקותי חזקה שבמהרה יוכל לבשר מהטבת בריאותו ההולכת וטובה עד שיחזור לאיתנו לגמרי.

מובן מעצמו שצריך הוא למלאות אחרי הוראת הרופאים, וכמרז"ל שנתנה תורה רשות (כח) לרופא לרפאות.
