By the grace of Hashem,

19 Tammuz 5711,

To the distinguished chassid who fears Hashem,

and who faithfully discharges his task,

Rav Yaakov HaCohen[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I received with satisfaction your letter from the eve of the festival of the liberation of the 12th of Tammuz, which reached me on the very day of that liberation. Your participation, as well as that of your brother Aharon HaCohen[2] and that of Mr. Binyamin Sacks, arrived truly at the right moment. You acquired a particular merit by carrying out a concrete action on the very day of the liberation, in order to take part in the sacred work of my father-in-law, the Rebbe.

On the luminous day of his liberation, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, undoubtedly prays especially for all those who are bound to him, for all those who lead an action for the Torah and for its luminary[3] with mesirus nefesh*. Thus, Hashem will make it that their participation be easier, and He will enable them to increase it, with good health and with material and spiritual abundance.

You will find enclosed the letters that I am sending to your brother, Mr. Aharon HaCohen[2], and to Mr. Binyamin Sacks. I thank you for kindly transmitting them to them.

With my blessing that you may know success in your endeavors, and that you may quickly be able to convey good news to me in this regard,

זקס ,היו דבר בעתו מה טוב ,ויצרתם לעצמכם זכות מיוחדת עם מעשה

בפועל בחג הגאולה] ,סיוע[ בעבודת הקודש של כ״ק מו״ח אדמו״ר

זצוקללה״ה נבג״מ זי״ע.

שבתורה במסירות נפש ,שהקב״ה יקל עליהם את השתתפותם ויאפשר להם

להגדיל את השתתפותם ,מתוך בריאות הנכונה ומתוך הרחבה בגשמיות

וברוחניות.
