Greetings and blessings,
You will find enclosed the letter I am addressing to ...[1]. For your part, you will surely strive to explain to him that the chassidim* and those who come from chassidic families used to know, in the past, that they could not maintain themselves without studying chassidus*[2].
How much more so must this be the case in the present era, especially for the young. For them, chassidus is the only consolation, the only hope of holding firm, despite the intense and profound darkness of this bitter exile.
An image is given in this regard, that of dawn. Just before the rising of the day, the dimness and the desire to sleep are sharper. And the words emanating from the heart penetrate into the heart. May Hashem grant that you give me good news in this matter.

שלום וברכה!
...הנני מסג"פ מכתבי ל... שי', אבל, נוסף ע"ז, בטח ישתדל גם מצדו ולהסבירו, כי לאנ"ש וליו"ח גזע אנ"ש הרי גם בשנים מקודם לא הי' אפשר לא לימוד תורת החסידות, ועאכו"כ בימים אלה ובפרט לבני הנוער אשר רק זאת היא נחמתינו ותקותינו להחזיק מעמד בהחשך כפול ומכופל בהגלות המר הזה, וכידוע המשל מאילת השחר, אשר לפני אור היום הרי נעשה החשך והתאוה לישון בתוקף ביותר. ודברים היוצאים מן הלב נכנסים אל הלב, ויה"ר שיבשר בשו"ט בזה.
