Greetings and blessings,

I duly received your letters of 9 Sivan and of Wednesday of Parshas Korach, to which was attached the text of your will. It used to be said that the simple fact of drafting one is an auspicious act for obtaining a long life.

Concerning this document, in order to be valid, it must be the object of a deposit with a man of law. I take care to remind you of this.

I would like to know whether your travels have a usefulness, and I hope that you will give me good news in this regard.

I do not know where you will be on 12-13 Tammuz, and I therefore enclose for you the kuntres* published on this occasion. Without doubt, it will interest you greatly.

With my brochah that you may know calmness of spirit and, consequently, calmness of body,

קבלתי מכתביו מט' סיון וד' קרח בצירוף נוסח הצואה לאחר אריכות ימים ושנים, ופעם אמרו, אשר כתיבת צוואה היא עצמה סגולה לאריכות ימים ושנים,

ובנוגע לעצם הדבר, הנה בכדי שיהי' לה יפוי כח הדרוש, צריכה להעשות ע"י לאייער, והנני מעוררו על זה.

אתענין אם יש לו תועלת מהנסיעות ואקוה לשמוע בשו"ט בזה.

ובהיות לא אדע אי' יהי' בי"ב וי"ג תמוז הבע"ל, הנני מסגיר בזה הקונטרס לי"ב וי"ג תמוז הבע"ל ובטח ימצא בו רוב ענין.

בברכה למנוחת הנפש, ובמילא גם למנוחת הגוף.
