To the Rav, distinguished chassid* who has yiras Shamayim* and dedicates himself faithfully to communal needs, Rav Yochanan[1],
Greetings and blessings,
I took note with pleasure of your letter, informing me that you have just turned fifty-seven. May Hashem grant you long days and good years, as well as your wife, in moral and physical calm. You will derive much nachas* from your children, in expansiveness.
The merit of devoting yourself to the tasks entrusted to you by my father-in-law, the Rebbe[2], is sufficient to enable you to obtain, as well as your wife, good health and increased strength to advantageously pursue your accomplishments.
On this occasion, I address my blessing to you for the birthday of your son, the Rav, distinguished chassid* who has yiras Shamayim* and dedicates himself faithfully to communal needs, Rav Shalom Dov Ber. It is said that at thirty one attains strength. He will therefore increase his power and his vigor in his sacred mission. Thus, he will draw down, for himself, for the members of his family, and for all the children, expansiveness in the satisfaction of all their needs.
With my blessing for good, material and spiritual, for you and your wife,

שלום וברכה!
בנועם קראתי הודעתו כי ת"ל נתמלאו לו ז"ן שנה לאריכות ימים ושנים טובות, ויתן השי"ת ויאריך שנים טובות ביחד עם זוגתו תחי' במנוחת הנפש ובמנוחת הגוף וישבעו רוב נחת מכל יו"ח יחיו מתוך הרחבה.
ויכולה זכות העסקנות באלה הענינים שכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר מינה אותו עליהם, ומספקת עסקנות זו בלבד להמשיך לו ולזוגתו תחי' בריאות נכונה ותוספת כח להמשיך טוב בעניניהם.
בהזדמנות זו הנני שולח ברכתי ליום הולדת בנם הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א עוסק בצ"צ באמונה מוה"ר שלום דובער שי' ובן שלשים לכח יוסיף כח ואומץ בעבודתו בקדש וזה ימשיך לו ולב"ב ולכל ילדיהם שי' כל המצטרך להם בהרחבה.
